Boston's relationship with Shepherd Fairey is slightly schizophrenic.While the street artist, and creator of the 2008 Obama "Hope" poster, is being celebrated with an exhibition of his works at the Institute of Contemporary Art, he was also charged, in February, with nearly 30 counts of vandalism in various municipal courts for instances of his posters and stickers being attached to public utility poles and junction boxes.
About half the charges were dropped Tuesday, June 2nd, by one of the three jurisdictions involved.
