Attorney General Eric Holder announced Friday that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other suspects in the Sept. 11 attacks are to be transferred from Guantanamo Bay to New York for prosecution. The city may be prepared to tackle the security and logistics of the trial, prosecutors in the Southern District of New York are superb, but the public's emotions will present a challenge... Can New Yorkers, sitting in a court building that endured a rain of twin towers debris, be impartial and provide a fair trial in this terrorism case?
