Blood Diamonds
Resources are a mixed blessing for Africa.
Diamonds were discovered in Zimbabwe in 2006, the same year the movie came out. And with the potential for great wealth came more misery... And disturbing evidence that the gems are destroying the lives of many in a country that’s already seen a lot of hardship.
