Paranoia Runs Deep
Rachel Maddow: There's no evidence to support the popular American fantasy that more guns are a deterrent to crime & shooting sprees.
This is the billboard for Rush Limbaugh's radio show in Tucson...
Or at least it was until it was taken down on Monday 1/10, two days after Saturday's Safeway shooting spree which killed six.
Rush's syndicator, Premiere Radio Networks, denied responsibility for the billboard; blaming it on marketing by the local station KNST. But both Premiere & KNST are owned by multi-media mega-corp Clear Channel... Who also own the billboard and graphics shop which does all design projects, often duplicated elsewhere within their empire.
