Turning 80 this year, Regis Philbin announced he'll retire from "LIVE! With Regis and Kelly" after 28 years on the air. Speculation about who would replace him began immediately... Among those offering an appreciation was his previous long-term co-host Kathie Lee Gifford, spending some time across the street from "Today" on "Morning Joe."
