NFL's TV Popularity

Are you going through football withdrawal yet?

More people watched the 2011 Super Bowl than ever before, and according to one Nielson researcher this NFL season was "arguably the most successful season that any sports league has ever had."

Are NFL telecasts that good or are the alternatives just really bad?
