No doubt Boston is an expensive place to live... Been there, done that. But compared to San Francisco, it's the bargain basement.
The venture capitalists may have shown favoritism for having the start-up close at hand, but it's hard to believe excluding Boston as a place to build the business is strictly a matter of due diligence.
There are indications that the area's applicant to opportunity ratio would produce many qualified applicants eager to get onboard.
