Watch what happens next with Fox News Sunday panelist Mara Liasson. She joined NPR in 1985, is currently a national political correspondent and her tenure also includes a stint as NPR's White House correspondent during all eight years of the Clinton administration. As a reporter she's likely to be held to a higher standard than Williams (a commentator in both venues).

Although she's also appeared on Fox since 1997, she avoids the prime time partisan polemics of the network.
