There were more important thoughts on his agenda, but it seemed an Obama "I love Las Vegas" quote was mandatory during his visit.



The "happiest mayor on earth" (thanks in part to prodigious gin consumption and being escorted at public appearances by scantily clad showgirls 1/3 his age) had a freakin' cow! He wasn't alone.

When President Obama put "Las Vegas" in a sentence next to an example of "irresponsible spending" again, everyone in town got mad. Everyone that is, but Dayvid Figler, who listened to the whole quote and put it in its real non-hysterical context.
