Donald Trump is the current owner of the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants. He bought them in 1996, and sold part interest to NBC in return for TV contract in 2002.

Shanna Lynn Moakler (born March 28, 1975) is an American model, actor, reality television subject and former beauty queen. She was Miss New York USA then Miss USA in 1995 (before Trump's ownership.) . Later she was appeared as Playmate of the Month in Playboy magazine's December 2001 issue.
Moakler served as co-director for the Miss California USA pageant organization until May 13th, 2009.
