Beyond The Wall

Former exchange student Gerry Hadden revisits life at a crtical point along Germany's former East/West border, in the now peaceful and prosperous Baltic Sea coastal town of Travemunde.

In the 80s, still immersed in the Cold War, it was frequently a place where escape attempts, and lives, ended in a hail of automatic weapons fire.
