GOP ex-candidate endorses Democrat in NY race

ALBANY, N.Y. — A day after Republican state Assemblywoman Dierdre Scozzafava abruptly suspended her campaign in the New York special election, she's endorsing the Democrat in the race — not the Conservative Party candidate favored by fellow Republicans.

It may just be sour grapes because so many out-of-state right wingers opposed her, but doesn't Scozzafava's endorsement of the Democrat play right into the conservatives' argument... That she was just too "liberal" all along?
