Some interviews make more news after they air... Once what's said sinks in.
Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, chairman of the Republican Governors' Association, has been described as the "most powerful Republican in American politics"... Because of his fundraising prowess, he's also mentioned as a possible Presidential contender. Here he talks about Mississippi's recovery from Hurricane Katrina, the aftermath of the Gulf oil spill and the significance of conservative figures Glenn Beck & Sarah Palin.
Living through extraordinary times makes vivid memories... Ones less likely to fade over time, unless you want to bleach out the bloodstains of the past and purposely twist those memories.
Every year, it's a weekend of emotional ambiguity marking two medical anniversaries with totally different outcomes.
More recently, a life saving surgery. In the distance, a reminder that one of the few potentially life saving amateur tools in which the public is trained fails 9 of 10 times.
