In 1980, the pop culture world eagerly waited to find out who shot big shot character J.R. Ewing on the popular CBS nighttime soap, Dallas. A radio station I worked at even gave away T-shirts to lucky contest winners proclaiming "I did it"... Three decades later, Katie Couric spoke with the notorious "J.R." himself, actor Larry Hagman.
