Exercise In Futility

Although the Supreme Court might have given them some privileges associated with personhood, it's a mistake for a President to expect humanity from large corporations... And certainly not citizenship.



The US Chamber of Commerce spent tens of millions of dollars against Democrats in last year's election — and opposed his policies on health care, energy and financial reform. Now, the president wants to see if he can find common ground with the business lobby on this year's agenda of deficit cutting, tax reform and trade.

David Chavern, chief operating officer of the Chamber of Commerce, reacted to the President's comments.
