Bloggers And Cable Pundits... Not So Much Bards

New media players, like ideologically motivated bloggers and their counterparts on cable news, have proven to have the power to drive the national news conversation. Their narratives force old-school news executives to play catch-up, research with real reporting and often bear the brunt of bias accusations for not having jumped on the bandwagon of uncritical repetition.
